Student Papers
Undergraduate and graduate students at colleges and universities are encouraged to submit papers describing research they have done in all areas of computer science. Students submitting papers to the conference are expected to attend the conference and present their work at a scheduled conference time if their paper is accepted. Student authors whose papers are accepted must register (at a student registration reduced rate) by January 15, 2009. Students will be notified of paper acceptance by December 8, 2008. Students must follow the manuscript guidelines for paper format and length.
Student papers are limited to 6 pages single-spaced, (single column layout)
including references, figures,
and tables. References and citations should follow the CBE (Council of Biology
Editors)
style using the citation-sequence system.
Authors must use the default font (12-point Times New Roman) and
margins (1.25 inches) for MS Word or WordPerfect.
Student papers must be submitted electronically in PDF format.
To submit a paper student authors will need
to have contact information for all authors of the paper.

each student author includes name, email, university, and phone number.
It is important that student author(s) contact information is correct for notification of paper
acceptance.

the Word document(s) to Laura Baker, the Papers/Program chair at
laurab@stedwards.edu

Once a paper is submitted electronically, all listed authors will receive an
email from the CCSC:SC student paper chair verifying that the submission was
properly received. If no email is received within 72 hours of submission, then contact
Mike Scherger, Student Papers Chair, by email at
michael.scherger@tamucc.edu
or by telephone: (361)825-2448.
