Graduate students in the life sciences should examine courses from several graduate programs in the College of Science and Engineering (The student's Graduate Advisory Committee may also approve up to nine hours of work from other colleges.)

This page contains the complete list of graduate courses offered in the Department of Life Sciences. Each entry in this course list includes the following information:

  • Course Number
  • Course Title
  • Credit Hours
  • Link to Syllabus (pdf file)
  • Link to Course Web Site (if available)
  • Tentative Two-Year Course Schedule (NOTE: The schedules on this page are for general planning purposes only and are subject to change.)

Information about current and future course offerings under the Selected Topics and Special Topics titles (course numbers 4590 or 5590) is found on the Selected Topics / Special Topics Page.

The most current information about the present (or upcoming) semester's schedule of courses is available on the Current On-Line Course Schedule.

The Current Graduate Catalog contains a description of each graduate program, as well as a description of each graduate course (including its prerequisites and/or co-requisites).

Information about undergraduate course offerings in the Department of Life Sciences is found on the Undergraduate Course Information Page.

Important Notes:

Laboratory Safety Seminar (SMTE 0091) is a co-requisite course for all courses in the Department of Life Sciences that have a laboratory component.

Students in any courses that involve Diving must comply with the guidelines established by the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Diving Control Board.
