Welcome to the 19th annual meeting of the South Central Region of the Consortium for Computing Sciences in Colleges. On behalf of the CCSC:SC Steering Committee we wish to thank all the student authors, presenters, and reviewers who helped us create an exciting program. We especially appreciate the time and effort given by faculty, staff, and students of Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi who helped conduct this year's conference.
This year marks the first year we are publishing student papers using electronic media (website and CD). Our student paper acceptance rate this year was 65%. This year 11 papers were accepted for publication and presentation. Each paper was reviewed by one to two independent reviewers.
