Texas Marine Mammal Stranding Network

Students working with stranded dolphinThe Texas Marine Mammal Stranding Network is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization dedicated to the conservation and understanding of marine mammals through rescue, rehabilitation, release, research, and education of stranded marine mammals (dolphins, whales, and manatees) along Texas Coastline. Currently, there are over 40 TAMU-CC students who volunteer with the Corpus Christi region with an additional 75+ TAMUCC-GAL students volunteering in the Galveston area.  For more information on the Stranding Network and to view latest events & strandings, visit http://sci.tamucc.edu/tmmsn/.
