An Environmental Information System for Hypoxia in Corpus Christi Bay:
A WATERS Network Test Bed

SamplingThis project is funded by the National Science Foundation via a subcontract from The University of Texas.  The purpose is to create an Environmental Data Access System for Corpus Christi Bay hypoxia data archives.  Hypoxia is a low oxygen condition that occurs in the southeast corner of the bay, mainly in summer, and threatens ecological health.  In addition, new data will be collected each summer during field surveys to assess the spatial and temporal extent of the hypoxic conditions.
