Information Has Value: Respecting the Intellectual Property of Others and Your Presentations for First-Year Symposium

As you go about building your tri-fold visual presentations, you will need to make certain to accurately cite the work and ideas of others in MLA. This is a very important part of participating in an academic community. Adopt an attitude of R-E-S-P-E-C-T (like Aretha Franklin) for others and their intellectual property.

Your presentation will most likely include the following types of information that will need to be cited:

  • primary sources
  • secondary sources
  • images and photos
