Global Literacies and World Wide Web : Postmodern Identities. Gail E. Hawisher and Cynthia L. Selfe.

This study looks into the literary practices that are already being practiced on the internet. It includes authoring, reading, designing, analyzing and interpreting texts within various social, cultural, educational and national contexts. Where this text is unusual is that it deliberately pulls from scholars from multiple nations to look at specifically how the internet is being used in their part of the world in regard to composition and literacy. This strongly addresses the topic of my book review.
