Original: This article begins with an abstract which gives a general idea of the topic. The introduction section provides history and overview of the topic. This paper presents a process for updating relational databases through XML views. The process is based on a query language called R2X?? and on a concept of normalization for XML views. The R2X?? language constructs XML views from relational databases, while normalization removes the ambiguity in an XML view, thus solving the update problem. This article will be of great use to write my paper.

The article's abstract gives a general idea of the topic. The introduction provides history of the topic. This paper presents a process for updating relational databases through XML views. XML is based on a query language called R2X?? and normalization. The R2x and normalization are used to solve the update problem.

Original:

The authors begin their article by first presenting their thesis and overview of the document, followed by the some tools that help to solve problems in updating relational databases through XML views. After establishing the problem, the authors proposed a mechanism to solve the problem, like the way changes are submitted, the kind of view that can be updated (usually only plan views) and also the kind of update operations that can be performed to alleviate the problem. The mechanism is based on a language that constructs updatable XML views over relational databases. This language is called R2X?? (Relations to XML). They use SQL to build the views and map the relational view to XML. R2X?? is based on wrapper architecture. In this architecture, a user application submits an R2X?? query to the wrapper. The wrapper processes the query and sends the resulting XML view. The user application modifies the XML view and sends it back to the wrapper. The wrapper identifies the changes performed on the XML view and generates SQL update statements so that the changes can be reflected in the database.

Revised: Authors proposed some tools for updating relational databases through XML views. Also they stated the solutions for the update operations.R2X?? is the language that constructs the updatable XML views over relational databases. They use SQL to build the views and map the relational view to XML. R2X?? is based on wrapper architecture, which needs the user to submit a query. The wrapper processes the query and sends the resulting XML view. The wrapper identifies the changes that made on XML.
