SGarza: PlanForWritingWorkshop

Use the last part of the class (15-20 minutes) and trade the rough draft of your Plan for Writing memo with someone in your group. As you read one of your fellow classmate's drafts, on a separate piece of paper answer these questions; What parts of the memo do you think are the strongest? Where in the memo do you find yourself asking questions about what the writer may mean, and/or where do you find you'd like to know more? When you finish, return the memo draft to your fellow student along with your written comments. Take the comments home with you and as you work on the final draft of your Plan for Writing Memo (which is due next Wednesday), use the comments to help you make your memo stronger. Bring the comments with you to class next Wednesday when you turn in your final draft of your Plan for Writing.
