• Read https://uxdesign.cc/8-lessons-in-ux-writing-36f0e73e2971.
  • Make sure to click on all the links in the article and skim the info there.
  • Then create your own article titled "What is Writing for the Web All About?"
  • In your article talk about the things you learned about web writing from this article. Use hyperlinks in your document to connect to the https://uxdesign.cc/8-lessons-in-ux-writing-36f0e73e2971 article, just like she does in her article.
  • You can create your article as a word doc or you can use whatever program you are familiar with. Maybe you have your own blog. You can do this type of thing on your FaceBook? page. (Just make sure to make it accessible so we can see it.) I could create one on my wiki site. (But never PowerPoint as this has to be an article, and PowerPoint is not a program meant to create articles. There is a great article titled "PowerPoint is Evil." You should Google it and read it.) If you use Word, there is a way to make a web page in Word, and you can make hyperlinks in a Word doc. Use the help menu if you don't know how, or Google how to do it, as it will be a bit different depending on what version you are working with.
  • Also in your article talk about at least one example of a job that a web writer might have. You will probably need to do some searching for this in addition to the article.
  • You have to provide all info so your reader knows where you info came from. So when you refer to the article, give the title, author and the hyperlink. So you might say, "Blah Blah author in her article titled, "Blah blah" talks about ... You have to do this for any other resource you use.
  • You will be creating a document like this for the projects in this course, so this will give you practice learning how to do that :)
