Note-taking tips:

  • Listen for word clues:
    • Listing "causes of"
    • Listing "aspects of"
    • "Therefore"
    • "In conclusion"
    • "And so we see"
    • "Hence"
    • "Similarly"
    • "On the other hand"
    • "However"
  • Leave spaces to go back and add things
  • Use question marks for things that need clarification later
  • Your hand should be sore! (It'll get stronger)
  • Write dates to structure your notes (or just print the Outlines and write on them!)
