Creative Writing Draft Development and Peer Review
Keys for Reviewing:
- What decisions did the author make about structure, grammar, word choice, literary techniques, etc.?
- Did the author use traditional conventions? If so, were they consistent?
- Is it clear what the author is protesting?
- Are symbolism or inference adequate for conveying the message?
Remember that this is a peer review. You don't need to tell the author what is wrong with their piece, so much as you need to ask why they made the decisions they made.
