Project Description: "This project is the design and implementation of a weather station using the 8-bit PIC16F84 microcontroller chip of Microchip, Inc. to record the temperature, wind speed, wind direction, relative humidity, pressure, rain fall, and light intensity readings. This station is used by the Conrad Blucher Institute of Surveying and Science for weather analysis. The project involved a thorough investigation of the characteristics of the PIC16F84 microcontroller to develop a program to record the readings automatically, and also involved designing and building circuits to interface the chip with the appropriate sensors."
