|Project Description: ||The objective of this project is to develop a real time application to identify the email reply patterns. This application exploits the ability of Natural Language Processing (NLP) to identify patterns based on email conversation logs. Stanford Parser is used for parsing the conversations to identify the parts of speech of all the tokens in every message. In addition, Cosine similarity algorithm is used for measuring the similarity among the messages and Levenshtein algorithms is used for measuring the difference in distance between the messages. Based on the result got from the algorithms, a reply pattern is identified. In addition the application manages calendar entries for appointment request which are received through emails and reschedules overlapping appointments based on the sender’s priority. The application is developed on the Android platform, considering the usability and APIs it supports.
