Professional Authors Accepted Paper Information

Author(s) of papers that have been accepted to the South Central Regional Conference must complete the following steps to insure publication in the Journal for Computing Sciences in Colleges and the South Central Region's Conference Proceedings.

Registration form with payment for each presenter, copyright form signed by all authors, and a biography form for each presenter must be mailed by January 15, 2009 to the CCSC South Central 2009 registrar:

A tentative conference schedule is posted at the CCSC:SC 2009 Conference website.

Accepted Panelists and Tutorial/Workshop Presenters Information

Panelists and Tutorial/Workshop presenters must complete the following steps to ensure inclusion in the Conference Proceedings and program.


All forms with registration payment must be mailed to the CCSC South Central 2009 registrar:

Important Dates for the South Central Region

November 10, 2008 - Last day to submit professional papers for review.
November 14, 2008 - Papers released to reviewers.
November 17, 2008 - Last day to submit student papers for review.
December 1, 2008 - Last day to submit panel or tutorial proposal.
December 1, 2008 - Electronic reviews due back to Papers chair.
December 5, 2008 - Steering Committee meeting to decide 2009 program.
December 8, 2008 - Authors notified via email of paper status.
January 15, 2009 - Final electronic versions of accepted professional papers due.
January 15, 2009 - Professional authors, panelists, tutorial presenters' registrations due.
April 6, 2009 - Last day to submit student poster abstracts for presentation.
April 24-25, 2009 - Conference at Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana.
