  1979   Received Ph.D. degree of Physical and Mathematical Sciences from the Academy of Science of the USSR. Defended thesis on "Game Theory Approach to the Mathematical Programming and Decisions-Making".

  1974   Received degree Master of Science in Applied Mathematics with Honor, Moscow Institute of Transport Engineers (MITE), College of Automatic and Computing Technology, Moscow, USSR.

TEACHING: I have been teaching at the academy for over 30 years. During this time I have taught undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate courses, among them: Calculus, Real Analysis, ODE, PDE, Linear Algebra, Optimal Control, Probability Theory and Statistics, Stochastic Processes, Operation Research and Decision Making, Optimization, Advanced Mathematical Modeling, Modeling of Natural Systems, Logic, and many more. I was a Chair as well as a member of many graduate and post-graduate committees.

At present Dr. Alexey Sadovski is a member of Doctoral Faculty at TAMUCC and teaches courses on the modeling of natural systems, system analysis, and statistics for post-graduate students.

                   

RESEARCH:  Research work in Applied Mathematics and Mathematical Education. Principal Investigator, Director, and Co-director of more than 20 projects, including NASA and NSF grants.

 

PUBLICATIONS and CONFERENCES:    More than 60 books and papers, published in Germany, India, Japan, USA, USSR, and other countries. Participant with presentations of numerous International and National Conferences and Seminars. Co-Chair of International Conference on Computation and Mathematical Modeling (2005); Co-Chair of the I International  Seminar on Mathematical Models in Economy and  Environment (1992); Member of International Programming Committee for 15-th IMACS World Congress, Berlin 1997, and Organizer of Special Sessions; Chair of Session on Nonlinear Programming of the IV Caribbean Conference on Approximation and Optimization, Venezuela, 1998.  Chair of Sessions on Fuzzy Sets and Systems of the WSES Congress on Soft Computing, Spain, 2001.
