Gold Harbor, South Georgia: Two light-mantled sooty albatrosses in a mating dance. We were extremely fortunate to be able to see these birds. They are reasonably rare, only nest in a few places, and rarely on level enough ground to stand and see them. Most existing photos involved rope ladders and/or crampons. The next photo gives you an idea of what the surrounding habitat looks like.
