Coastal Bend Bays & Estuaries Program (CBBEP)
the Coastal Bend Bays Plan, which is to protect and restore the health and productivity of the bays and estuaries
while supporting continued economic growth and public use of the bays.
The CBBF is a public interest organization (non-profit 501c3) dedicated to the conservation of freshwater and coastal natural resources for current and future
generations through consensus, facilitation, communication, advocacy, research and education.
Our purpose is to advance student understanding of natural sciences by participation in recognized scientific
activities, research opportunities and field experiences of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, the community, and
professional scientific societies.
Since the Center's founding in 1978, it has responded to over 1500
calls for stranded whales, dolphins, seals, and sea turtles that washed
ashore on New Jersey beaches.
